Voice Systems is proud to introduce the new Galileo Multimedia player, a revolutionary device in the field of the portable Midi Player and Karaoke Machines.
In fact, besides the capability to reproduce all the Standard Midi and Karaoke files, Galileo is able to reproduce the AUDIO files coded as MP3™ files and also MIDI files with audio tracks. As portable player, Galileo is the first device to allow the musicians to use the great quality background tracks, recorded in studio using real instruments and real background voices. For the standard Midi File section, a powerful General Midi sound card provides 393 high quality sounds, 10 drum sets and Reverb and chorus effects.
Also, thanks to the embedded video interface, this new device is able to show on the TV screen the lyrics of song played,feuture available for both for MIDI and MP3™ files 
(TAG ID3 Ver.2.)

The well-known Smart-media™ card is used by Galileo as its data memory, accepting all the current sizes from 8 Mbytes up to 128 Mbytes. The Galileo file management is at the top of its category, supporting also the Long file names, folders and subfolders and the files are uploaded in the Galileo card by way of the USB connection.

When connected to a computer, Galileo is recognized as a Mass-Storage device, becoming in fact a “Removable Hard Drive”. No additional software is needed to manage the Galileo files: a simple “drag and drop” or a “copy-paste” operation is enough to write the files in the smart-media™ card in a fast and secure way. Using MAC OS 9.1™ or Higher, Windows ME™,  Windows 2000™ or Windows XP™ Galileo is recognized as a plug & play device, while, for  Windows 98 SE™ systems, the drivers are provided .

A useful Microphone input (with independent level and Gain) is available, featuring an additional Reverb effect with editing parameters; the mixed audio signal is provided at both the line outputs and television connectors.
Thanks to the Graphic LCD, the encoder and the multi-lingual firmware the use of Galileo is easy and immediate.
